The lake house is situated within walking distance to the Town of Indian Lake in a large WATERFRONT lot. The front porch is lined with comfy Adirondack furniture ideal for sipping coffee, reading, long chats or a chance to sit and watch nature at it's best. The lake is filled with wildlife and you will never tire of watching the loons swoop across the lake in the mist or better yet the otters frolicking on the dock on their backs. If fishing is for you either row around and sink a line or simply cast directly from the dock. Many a fish can be caught either way.
The Town of Indian Lake offers three restaurants all with different fare. A must try is Marty's Chili Nights, Mexican Cuisine. Perfect for the whole family with a fun atmosphere and FANTASTIC food. Fair prices and signature Margarita's. Our grocery Store is fully supplied for all of those specials meals you may want to prepare in our camp. The vegetables are always fresh and the selection is grand. If you need something special while you are in town you can check out one of the area General stores supplying everything from clothing to fishing poles. Or just pop into Stewart's, grab some cold soda, water gas and go... We have several bars in the area and a luncheonette too. We even have two Antique / Gift stores. The best part is that it's so close to camp you can walk and enjoy the fresh air. No need to stock up miles from camp and stress out if you forgot butter.
